Links

Miriam’s Well was founded by Susan Rosen in 2000 as a spiritual learning center, more specifically a “co-learning” center—where exchange of wisdom and experience is emphasized and encouraged. As a small organization, we have had to rely, in part, on this kind of exchange with other centers, groups, communities, and organizations—for guidance and conversation, for help with spreading the word about upcoming seminars and about Miriam’s Well in general, and for inspiration and ideas. Below are links to many of these places and people—organizations that continue to help us, and whose mission and purpose overlap in one way or another with Susan’s vision and the mission and purpose of Miriam’s Well. Please enjoy . . . .

And e-mail us with websites we have missed that you think lie in the same sphere as Miriam’s Well, sites that you think our community would want to know about.

Projective Dreamwork with Melissa Sweet

Mirabai Bookstore, 23 Mill Hill Road, Woodstock, NY 12498
Wednesdays 6:30-8:00pm, starting September 17, 2008
$15 per session.
Contact Melissa at 845-246-6195 for registration & info.

We all dream! When we remember our dreams, it is our Soul's attempt to speak to us. As we meet and share these dreams with one another, each of us will enter the dream presented as though we are the "dreamer." This is known as "Projection." During this process the deeper layers of the dream will be uncovered. This amazing work, for those who are open-hearted and courageous, offers wonderful opportunities for self-revelation and personal transformation. It will be surprising and exciting to witness the collective response to our individual and group endeavors.

Melissa Sweet is a well-known flutist and flute teacher. She is also a Spiritual Director; a graduate of the Center for Spiritual Direction and Social Justice in New Rochelle, NY. Her spiritual teachers are Dr. Craig Lennon and Dr. Bruce Chilton.

As a "dreamer" her mentor is Jeremy Taylor, a world-renowned author and one of the founders of the "Association for the Study of Dreams." Melissa is completing her Certification in Projective Dreamwork at Miriam's Well in Saugerties, NY.
