The Language of Creativity & The Wisdom of Dreams (Projective Dreamwork Facilitator Training**):

• Have you studied dreams and Dreamwork before and want to learn how to help others find meaning in theirs?

Projective Dreamwork as practiced and taught by Jeremy Taylor, a world renowned and illustrious dream interpreter is a method of discerning and exploring the many symbols and mysterious stories that come to us in the dream world. And in the same way we cannot see our own face unless we hold a mirror to it, we are selectively blind to our own dreams. We need the many voices and projections of other Miriam's Well participants in the circle of dreamers to finally understand the meanings and Ahaa’s of our dreams.

This workshop is open to anyone and everyone who has an interest in working with dreams. You don't need to be experienced in Dream Work to attend Jeremy's workshops - dream work puts beginners and experienced dream workers on equal footing. Jeremy will introduce the basics for responsibly working with dreams and all you need is an open mind.

This workshop has a special focus on preparing Dream-workers to facilitate dream groups and work individually with others. And although this workshop has a special focus on preparing Dream-workers to facilitate dream groups and to work individually with others as part of the new Miriam's Well Institute for Applied Projective Dreamwork program**, ( where participants can become Certified Dream Counselors,) we are expecting many first time Dream- workers as well.

**MIRIAM’S WELL INSTITUTE OF APPLIED PROJECTIVE DREAMWORK CERTIFICATE PROGRAM

Building on the foundational practice of Projective Dreamwork as pioneered by Jeremy Taylor, D.Min., Miriam’s Well Organization offers a certificate program to those who want to use the application of dreams to encourage and enhance the creative development of their lives in every aspect. The MWIAPD Certificate program is open to individuals from every discipline and walk of life who desire a professional practice in dreamwork or for professionals who want to integrate dreamwork into a practice of the healing or educational arts.

CURRICULUM

(To be completed within a two year period or less)

• Four Workshops led by Jeremy Taylor @ Miriam’s Well (one of which must be the workshop devoted to teacher training)
• One “at large” workshop (a seminar or workshop led by another qualified professional which focuses on dreams or integrates dreamwork into the topic of the workshop)
• Consultations with an Advisor (every three months, minimum of two meetings)
• One-to-one dream work with a certified dreamworker for a total of 2 hours
• One-to-one dreamwork with at least two different clients obtained by the student
• Facilitation of a dream group of at least 5 participants for six meetings
• Compassion Practicum – (a form of service provided to individuals or groups that uses projective dreamwork to encourage and enhance the creative, spiritual development of their lives)
• Presentation of the student’s intention to apply dreamwork in their own choice of spiritual activism (a paper or other tangible project)Final review of work with Advisors

Students will be required to present reports after each workshop and each one-to-one consultation with their own clients.
There will also be required readings.

About Jeremy Taylor:

Jeremy Taylor has worked with dreams for more than 30 years, integrating the values of spirituality with an active social conscience and a Jungian perspective. He is an ordained Unitarian-Universalist minister, is a founding member and past president of the Association for the Study of Dreams, and has written three books merging dream symbolism, mythology, and archetypal energy: Dream Work; Where People Fly & Water Runs Up Hill; and, his most recent, Living Labyrinth:Universal Themes in Myths, Dreams, and the Symbolism of Waking Life. Dr. Taylor currently directs the Marin Institute for Projective Dream Work. He has a Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) from the University of Creation Spirituality and an honorary Doctor of Sacred Theology (STD) from Starr King School for the Ministry. Jeremy appears regularly on national radio and TV, and pioneered on-line dream work as host of AOL's innovative dream work show.
